The winners’ artwork has been enlarged and prominently displayed on San José’s recycling and garbage trucks. They were three of 45 K-12 students in the San José area who submitted creative designs to help promote Recycle Right messages. The student artists will be recognized at the unveiling ceremony, which will include three garbage and recycling trucks featuring their designs. The winners of the contest are Taizo Honda, a 5th grade student at Forest Hill Elementary School Sophia He, an 8th grade student at Piedmont Middle School and Hannah McCarthy, a 10th grade student at Branham High School.
